Admission to the PhD Program

Admission is organized annually in two sessions: July and September.

Admission Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent
• Successful admission examination (interview with the proposed doctoral supervisor)
• Foreign candidates must complete additional pre-selection steps

Funding Options

• Scholarship – state-funded positions (limited number)
• Self-funded – fee-based positions, available to Romanian and foreign citizens

Duration

Three years, with the possibility of a one-year extension in well-justified cases.
